He is Faithful

I may not know your story—But I do Know: He is faithful! 💕

Unhindered Prayers

Don’t let the way you treat others get in the way of how your prayers are being answered!

(Taken from Joel Osteen)

Did you know that the way you treat people has an impact on the effectiveness of your prayers? The Bible says that the prayer of the righteous person is powerful, but if we aren’t treating others with honor, kindness and respect, then we aren’t allowing His righteousness to operate in us. When we don’t treat others the way we should, it closes the door to God’s power and hinders our prayers.

This is especially true in a marriage relationship. Marriage isn’t just an agreement between two people to live life together. Marriage is a God-ordained institution that helps us understand love and unity. When two people are married, they become one physically, spiritually and emotionally. This particular passage is directed toward husbands, but it applies to all believers as well. We should all treat others “with understanding,” which means considering the needs of others above our own. We should always aim to treat others with kindness, dignity and respect and quickly choose forgiveness.

The Bible says that the way we treat others is the way we treat God. So choose love and treat others with respect so that your prayers can be powerful and effective the way God promises!

A Prayer for Today

“Father in heaven, I want to live in Your ways. I want to treat others with love and respect which shows that I honor You. Show me how to be a blessing to others and teach me how to make my prayers effective in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Intentional Living

Are you Living Life with Intention?

💥Goals move us and goals shape us…

💥Have a vision/have a plan (write it down)

💥Stop comparing yourself to others…Be who U were created to be!

💥Learn from others…we are Better Together

💥Stay focused…

💥Commit your plans to Him, and He will establish them (Proverbs 16:3)

💞2018 will be a year of great things to come!💞

It’s Time To Grow

Are you doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results?

You gotta stop stop putting your energy into things that are NO longer working; NO longer meant for you; NOT what was intended for you.

It’s your time to be refreshed—it’s time for You to blossom, grow and bear MUCH fruit!

Let 2018 be the year where you get out of your comfort zone and walk on water!

Take That Step of Faith…

What’s holding you back from taking that step of faith? Keep your eyes on Him and watch how your life changes and doors open up for you! Nothing good ever truly comes out of comfort zones, isn’t it time to grow? See what you were created to be?

Give Thanks…

There are always “good” things to be thankful for BUT have you ever thought about the stuff that may have brought you hurt, pain, or just was a struggle?

Are Your Roots Firmly Planted?

Are your roots firmly planted?

Is your foundation steady?

Colossians 2:7 “Have your roots planted deep in Christ. Grow in Him. Get your strength from Him. Let Him make you strong in the faith as you have been taught. Your life should be full of thanks to Him.” (NLV)

It Is Well

Is it “Well” with your soul? Sunday afternoon my mom called me and there was a tragic accident in Guyana that included extended family being taken from this earth far too soon! It was shocking, it was devastating and as the details poured in—it was gruesome! Later as I processed the incident, questions rolled through my mind about what those dear ones must’ve experienced or what were their thoughts or did they sense something was off that day? Did they meet previous family members in heaven? Who greeted them at the pearly gates? But what about those that are left to find peace here in on earth? What about those that are still processing trying to figure out the whys in a world that isn’t always fair?
We may never understand why things happen the way it does in this world, but one thing that we can rely on and that is God is in control!

To all my family that I can’t give a hug to today but is grieving, questioning, needs His peace, I encourage you to trust the simple fact—God is in control! It is well! Love you💞

When peace like a river, attendeth my way,

When sorrows like sea billows roll

Whatever my lot, thou hast taught me to say

It is well, it is well, with my soul

It’s Saturday! Went to bed dreaming of sleeping in and resting today—not a chance! My youngest woke up coughing and if you follow my blogs you already know when this happens somehow it can easily turn into an ordeal if it goes to her lungs. Of course we have already started the necessary precautions but my heart is always overwhelmed when any of our kids aren’t 100%! Definitely not a foreign feeling to most moms, you all know how what I’m talking about.
But whatever you are facing today—maybe it is a sick child; maybe it’s finances; your marriage; issues at work—did you realize that You are Already equipped to Overcome it? Doesn’t that alleviate the stress, the worry?

We are more than conquerors through Jesus Christ! (Romans 8:37)

Whatever you are facing in this day—you already are equipped to overcome it! 💞
