Rest

How many of U like ME struggle with Rest?

I can get so caught up on the mission, the goal, the fight that in the midst of it—I forget to Rest! The Word reminds us to find Rest. Here are a few scriptures for us to meditate as we Rest in Him💞

Sisterhood

Speaking into all the ladies this morning:

Can we simply say hello to one another without any hidden agendas?

Can we compliment our girl friends hair or outfit? Can we say “great job, momma” to them?

Is it too much for us to take the attention off of us for one second to make a sister feel beautiful?

It matters how we lift each other up, it matters how we affirm one another! Today—instead of thinking “I can’t stand her or what is she wearing?” Get to know “her,” find out what’s going on in “her” life? See how you can come alongside her? We do need each other ladies!

“Encourage one another and build each other up” (1 Thessalonians 5:11)

His Promises

Yesterday we saw this beautiful rainbow and isn’t it always a reminder of His promises?

The last day of the month, let’s reflect: what are you seeking Him for? What’s that thing that keeps you up at night? Are you where you want to be? Have you given up on U?

Oh but I want you to know, He Keeps His promises! He is faithful to fulfill His promises! 🌈

Choose to believe in His promise today! Be blessed friends!💕

Make It Count

What an eye opener!

There are lots of days I say, “I need a break from these kids!”

But when I came across this quote I know Daniel and I will miss these sweet faces, their never ending stories, the eruption of laughter in the car, constant bickering, because One day they will be creating memories with their own children!

In the meantime—go on adventures, make the very best memories and enjoy each moment! 💞

In Everything…

“In everything…”

Do you realize even the things that come at you that you may not like, even the things that may have hurt you, even the circumstances that you may not understand…

In Everything, give thanks!

Not easy for sure—but it is His will for us. Why? When we give thanks in the midst of the pain or the circumstances it releases and opens our heart for the blessings to be poured in. We no longer live tied to the hurt or pain. Just think you can’t really sulk when we are being thankful, can we? ❤️

Some truth today…

Some truth for the day! 💥💥💥

Not everyone has UR best interest in mind❤️❤️❤️

Happy Good Friday friends!

All Part of the Plan

Powerful reminder right here! His ways are above our ways! How many of us ever thought—“Man I’m thankful for Judas?”

If Judas didn’t betray his friend, Jesus, where would WE all be today?

Same in your life—if that person didn’t betray you, where would YOU be today? Sometimes be thankful for the person or persons that betrayed you—Know that they are part of the Plan—You will have the Victory; don’t tie up your miracle because you are stuck letting them go!

“Jesus couldn’t get to the Cross without Judas”

❤️❤️❤️

He is Faithful

I may not know your story—But I do Know: He is faithful! 💕

Unhindered Prayers

Don’t let the way you treat others get in the way of how your prayers are being answered!

(Taken from Joel Osteen)

Did you know that the way you treat people has an impact on the effectiveness of your prayers? The Bible says that the prayer of the righteous person is powerful, but if we aren’t treating others with honor, kindness and respect, then we aren’t allowing His righteousness to operate in us. When we don’t treat others the way we should, it closes the door to God’s power and hinders our prayers.

This is especially true in a marriage relationship. Marriage isn’t just an agreement between two people to live life together. Marriage is a God-ordained institution that helps us understand love and unity. When two people are married, they become one physically, spiritually and emotionally. This particular passage is directed toward husbands, but it applies to all believers as well. We should all treat others “with understanding,” which means considering the needs of others above our own. We should always aim to treat others with kindness, dignity and respect and quickly choose forgiveness.

The Bible says that the way we treat others is the way we treat God. So choose love and treat others with respect so that your prayers can be powerful and effective the way God promises!

A Prayer for Today

“Father in heaven, I want to live in Your ways. I want to treat others with love and respect which shows that I honor You. Show me how to be a blessing to others and teach me how to make my prayers effective in Jesus’ name. Amen.”
